Thousands of singers from around the world joined together, virtually, to record and perform the World Premiere of a brand new carol by Patrick and his brother.

Following on from the success of the excellent summer school organised by The Self-Isolation Choir including a brilliant performance of Patrick’s Quanta Qualia, the Hawes brothers wrote Still, Still The Night as a gift for the choir.  The new carol is imbued with both a sense of longing and the hope that a healing light may be born to comfort mankind.  It wonderfully draws together the familiar Nativity story and, with the pandemic still very much present, a hope for better things to come.

The World Premiere featured in the choir’s Christmas At Home online concert 20 Dec alongside festive singing treats for adults and children.

Patrick and his Publishers – Hawes Music – in association with The Self-Isolation Choir is proud to be donating half of all the proceeds from sales of the vocal score to Help Musicians, the charity for professional musicians of all genres, from starting out through to retirement.

And donations from the online concert tickets will be going to help the Forget-Me-Not Chorus, a charity that uses the power of song to support people living with and alongside dementia.
