The recording is now complete for Patrick’s 10th album and here’s a sneak peek!

Written for and recorded by the brilliant Same Stream Choir and conductor James JordanThe Fire of Love will be released later this year.  The album features two very different collections: The Fire of Love uses words adapted by Patrick’s brother Andrew based on the texts by 14th century English Mystic Richard Rolle, and Songs of Innocence sees Patrick setting nine of William Blake’s poems.  A selection of motets will also feature.

The album was recorded by The Same Stream Choir – made up of alumni from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ – under the expert direction of Grammy™-nominated conductor James Jordan with James Whitbourn as Producer.  The venue was the stunning Cathedral Basilica of Ss Peter and Paul, Philadelphia.

Speaking about the choir, Patrick says, “The Same Stream Choir is truly world class.  I have never known a body of singers convey so much warmth, humanity and mutual empathy.  It has been an honour and a joy to work with them.”.
