Every year, the Bands of The Household Division present their glittering winter concert Scarlet and Gold.

The concert features the outstanding talents of Britain’s very best military musicians as they bring the Bands of The Household Division from the parade square to the stage.  And their inspiring repertoire of traditional and modern music celebrates the very best of our Nation’s proud heritage and traditions.

This year, I was extremely proud to be asked to conduct the bands in a précised version of The Great War Symphony (arr. Major Craig Hallatt) which went down very well (see Review).  We were joined by the superb soprano Lizzie Holmes which, together with the beautiful setting of the Cadogan Hall and the brilliant Alastair Bruce as compere, made for a very entertaining evening!
