Patrick is in the midst of writing a major new oratorio to be premiered later this year.
The Son of Man is an epic new work for choir, soloists and orchestra which offers visionary musical settings of iconic texts from the Old and New Testaments. Patrick has created a work full of strong and memorable melodies, with exciting and imaginative choral and orchestral writing all combining to produce a deep sense of drama.
The oratorio will receive its World Premiere on 21st September in Houston, TX, with the Grammy Award Winning Houston Chamber Choir under the baton of the excellent Robert Simpson, in his final season with the choir.
