Join 3,300+ singers from around the world with The Self-Isolation Choir!

First up is #MessiahAtHome, then a series of Summer Schools featuring John Rutter and my Quanta Qualia.

At this time of self-isolation, regular choir rehearsals and concerts have been postponed or cancelled.  The Self-Isolation Choir has been created by a superb team to bring together – virtually – singers from around the world.

Weekly rehearsals are already underway for Handel’s Messiah ahead of a virtual concert at the end of May.  Then begins a series of Summer Schools – first up is a celebration of John Rutter’s music with the man himself, followed by ‘The Splendour of Church Anthems & Quanta Qualia‘.  I’ll be a guest presenter, working through the piece with all the singers, alongside the rest of the team who will be rehearsing the singers in a programme of some of the best-loved and most requested pieces in the canon – Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Parry’s incredible I Was Glad and Stanford’s The Bluebird.  The Summer School culminates in a performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria.
