I saw the Lord,
High and lifted up:
His train filled the temple.
Yet now I see
through a glass darkly;
But then I will see Him
face to face,
with the Seraphim will sing:
‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,
the whole earth
is full of His glory’.

Words: adapted by Andrew Hawes (1954 –   ) from the Book of Isaiah and the First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians
